MeepleUp is a mobile application that helps board game groups coordinate game nights, manage collections, and facilitate communication among group members. The Service includes:
- Event creation and management
- RSVP and attendance tracking
- Board game collection management
- AI-powered game recognition from photos
- Group messaging and discussion boards
- Integration with BoardGameGeek for game data
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your account information
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Not share your account credentials with others
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws

- Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate, without prior notice.

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by MeepleUp and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The MeepleUp name and logo are trademarks of MeepleUp.
BoardGameGeek and related game data are the property of their respective owners. We use BoardGameGeek's API in accordance with their terms of service.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. If you purchase a subscription:
- Subscription fees are charged through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- You may cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings
- Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with notice
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may experience downtime due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.

The Service may integrate with third-party services, including but not limited to:
- Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In for authentication
- Firebase for data storage and backend services
- BoardGameGeek API for game information
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEEPLEUP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MeepleUp, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MeepleUp operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
